Afina Systems offers VCON's full suite of rich media conferencing solutions throughout Spain and Portugal

July 19, 2004 (Austin, Texas) – VCON (Euronext- Nouveau Marché -ISIN CODE: IL 00 108 30540), a worldwide leader in audio and videoconferencing solutions, today announces an agreement with Afina, an international independent services company that distributes Internet/Intranet software. Afina will distribute VCON audioconferencing, videoconferencing and server solutions in Spain and Portugal.

This is VCON’s first distribution agreement in Spain, where direct partners have traditionally been used. Through this alliance VCON gains the support of a distributor with recognized experience in the Iberian market. Afina will benefit from VCON’s local presence in Spain, which will allow both companies to engage in joint promotional activities such as workshops, technical seminars and customer presentations.

Due to the promising future of voice services over IP (VoIP) – a business area with strong short and medium term growth expectations – Afina announced the creation of a new Multimedia Over IP Division shortly after signing their agreement with VCON. Afina will be the first company in Spain and Portugal to develop a specialized division for VoIP.
