VCON technical writer David Schor earns Israeli Society for Technical Communication's 2004-05 award for online help
(March 24, 2004) Austin, Texas - VCON ( Eurolist Paris -ISIN CODE: IL 00 108 30540 ), a worldwide leader in audio and videoconferencing solutions , today announced that David Schor, technical writer, VCON, received an Award of Excellence in Technical Communications for his MXM Online Help (v.4.1) manual.
VCON's Media Xchange Manager T (MXM) is an integrated media server composed of centralized management and administration modules, a video PBX and advanced rich media applications. Network administrators easily manage their rich media network from a centralized location and users have video telephony features such as call-forward, call-transfer, and ad-hoc conferencing.

Three judges assess awards which are granted if the submission meets one of the following criteria:

- Excellence in Technical Communication: Consistently meets high standards in all areas. The entry demonstrates an exceptional understanding of technical communication principles.
- Distinction in Technical Communication: Clearly superior in all areas. It applies the principles of technical communication in an outstanding way, particularly in the way that it anticipates and fulfills the needs of its audience.
The winning entries will be displayed at the 2005 STC Israel Convention, and an award evening and banquet is currently being planned for April. |
