vPoint HD V.7 offers High Definition video, wide-band audio with XGA data transmission

Ra’anana, May 25, 2006: Emblaze Ltd (LSE: BLZ) announces that its Group company, Emblaze-VCON, a leading provider of video communications technologies and conferencing solutions for operators and enterprise markets over IP networks, today announces the release of High Definition desktop videoconferencing – vPoint HD V.7.

vPoint HD V.7, Emblaze-VCON's seventh generation video over IP desktop conferencing solution, now offers the best available video and audio for point-to-point and multipoint desktop videoconferencing. It also includes encryption capabilities to make desktop videoconferencing easier and more secure than ever for the end user as well as more reliable and manageable for the network administrator.

vPoint HD V.7 new features will include H.264 calls with HDTV resolution (720p), Frameless full screen mode - The ability to view the video window in a full screen display without any toolbar or surrounding frame; AAC-LD 20KHz audio codec, Speaker calibration capability - The ability to calibrate the speaker output level. This feature is incorporated into the audio tuning wizard; Data Sharing Enhancement - Region sharing, Window Sharing, Play File added to the already existing Desktop Sharing.

In addition, the new vPoint HD V.7 will provide microphone test feedback - The ability to play back to the user the audio recorded sample within the audio tuning wizard, vMail format saved in WMV9 format which results in smaller file sizes, various improvements in H.263 protocols, support listening on multiple IP’s on machines with multiple network interfaces, better support for USB microphones on Windows XP and the ability to select which output device will be used for ring indication for incoming call.
