Emblaze-VCON introduces HD 600 – a New Entry Point in High Performance Videoconferencing

HD 600 is Emblaze-VCON's videoconferencing codec for integration into a custom multimedia room environment

Ra’anana, June 1, 2006: Emblaze Ltd (LSE: BLZ) announces that its Group company, Emblaze-VCON, a leading provider of video communications technologies and conferencing solutions for operators and enterprise markets over IP networks, today announces the launch of HD600, a high performance videoconferencing codec for integration into a custom multimedia room environment.
Attractively designed, the HD600 appliance is designed to turn the working day into a rich multimedia experience by delivering high quality video communications to SME’s (small-medium enterprises) and SOHO (Small Office/Home Office).
Providing clear videoconferencing and media streaming at a reasonable price, the HD600 suits every conference room, office and home-office.

HD600 is especially suitable for specialized applications like telemedicine, distance learning, banking, scientific research, and much more. The HD600’s flexibility and small footprint make it a very competitive value-added commodity for service providers to offer subscribers.

“We constantly work to make video easy for our customers. The new system opens new and exciting markets for us,” said Moshe Leder, CEO, “Never before has a videoconferencing product been offered with this kind of price performance and value.”

HD600 is also designed to connect to any monitor available in any environment, and is offered with a wide selection of static and controllable (PTZ) cameras. Users can control and operate through a hand-held remote control, or from another location through a browser-based management program, or through Emblaze-VCON’s Media Xchange Manager® (MXM). If deployed in an MXM-managed network, advanced telephony functions such as Call Transfer and Invite are available.

Emblaze-VCON’s HD600 will be shipped in Q3 2006. Lead time – 4 weeks
