Problem Description:
MXM allows non-VCON endpoints to perform select video telephony functions
using TUI (dial string) commands. Polycom endpoints and Microsoft Netmeeting
do not send DTMF messages during a call, thus not allowing the activation
of the Ad Hoc Conferencing Feature and Call Transfer feature from these
endpoints. |

Resolution:
To perform Ad Hoc Conferencing and Call Transfer, non-VCON endpoints
must be able to send DTMF messages during a call. Most VCON endpoints have
GUI controls and buttons for each of these telephony functions. Most older
versions of VCON's endpoint software are capable of sending DTMF messages. |
