Problem Description:
If the default password to access the Advanced Settings of the MediaConnect
9000 is changed and then forgotten or lost, how can the system be administered
or the password reset? |

Resolution:
First, the default password is "password" (lower case).
Second, if the default password was changed, it is stored in the Windows
Registry.
For MC9000 V1.0 it can be found in the following registry
location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DVC\Apps\MC9000\APWD
For MC9000 V2.0 it can be found in the following registry
location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\DVC\Apps\MC9000\APWD
