Resolution:
- First you must make sure the MXM server has IIS (Internet Information
Services) installed. From within the Windows Component Wizard on the
Windows 2000 Server CD, select IIS and install.
- Then go to Network Services and select "Site Server ILS Services."
Click OK, then Next. Windows will configure the components. Click
finish and reboot.
From within the MXM administrator interface:
- Go to the LDAP Servers View
- Select Win2000 ILS
- Change the Host Address from "Default_Site_Server_ILS"
to the IP Address of the ILS server.
- If you are using DNS, then the server name should be the same as
the DNS name.
- Change the "Refresh Connect Interval" to 10.
Go back to the Main View of the MXM administrator.
- Go to Templates, Desktop (or other device), select properties,
MXM, LDAP.
- In the "Display online directory from this server" select
"Site Server ILS Service"
- In the same window in the "List node in the following LDAP
servers:" select "Site Server ILS Service"
- Click Apply
