Site Server LDAP Directory Not Working After Applying Windows 2000 Hot Fix

Problem Description:
After applying a recent Hot Fix for Windows 2000, the Site Server LDAP directory stops working properly. It gives the following error in the Windows Event Viewer: "Site Server LDAP Service cannot initialize the following object: GetLastError()=87 : Init LdapExtension". |

Resolution:
Microsoft describes a resolution to this problem in the support section of their website under the identifier Q305082. The resolution involves unlocking the ILS_ANONYMOUS account on the Site Server machine.
