Resolution:
To fix this problem, check the following items:
- Open the Settings>Hardware>Camera dialog box and make sure that the correct camera model and port are defined.
- Make sure that you are directing the keyboard directly at the receiver unit with no obstructions between them.
- Verify that the Camera unit is connected correctly to the video card.
- Open the Settings>Hardware>Video dialog box and make sure that the correct video device and type are defined.
- Verify that the camera control cable is connected between the VISCA IN connector on the camera and the COM1 serial port on the rear panel of the computer.
- If your camera is Sony EVI-D100, check that the IR Select switch on the rear of the camera is set to:
- if youre using an S-Video connection
- if youre using a Composite Video connection.
- If your camera is Sony EVI-D100, check the settings of the DIP switches on the bottom of the camera. IR OUT must be set to OFF and MODE must be set to ON.
