30-Day vPoint HD Trial Expired - How to Continue Use

Emblaze-VCON Product: vPoint HD (6.0+)
Non-Emblaze-VCON Product:

Problem Description:
My 30-day trial of vPoint HD has ended. When I try to open the application, it prompts me to install a USB authentication key, or dongle. I don't have one; how can I continue using the vPoint HD application?

Resolution:
To continue using the vPoint HD application after the 30-day trial has ended, you have two options:

  1. Purchase an official vPoint HD kit from your Emblaze-VCON-authorized reseller. This kit includes a USB authentication key, which is a dongle that plugs into an open USB port on your PC. Upon plugging this dongle in, your vPoint HD application will continue to run. You do not have to uninstall and reinstall the application. All of your Personal Address Book and Speed Dial Entries will be intact.

If you do not have a Emblaze-VCON reseller, contact the Emblaze-VCON office closest to you and you will be given a reseller's contact information. For Emblaze-VCON locations, go to http://www.emblaze-vcon.com/about/locations.shtml or click the "Contact Emblaze-VCON" button on the Emblaze-VCON website to submit your request to be contacted.

  2. Register the vPoint HD application to a Emblaze-VCON Media Xchange Manager (MXM) server. To find out more about the MXM, contact your Emblaze-VCON reseller, or visit the MXM page of the Emblaze-VCON website. There is also a 30-day trial option for the MXM available on the MXM page of the Emblaze-VCON website. Once you register your vPoint HD application to a Emblaze-VCON MXM server, the application will continue to run properly. You do not need to uninstall and reinstall the application.

Note: It is not possible to uninstall the vPoint HD trial version and then reinstall it for a new 30-day trial period.
