vMail Application Not Playing Back Video

Problem Description:
After recording a vMail within the vPoint HD application and then clicking the Play button to preview the recorded video, the video image does not appear. Instead, a blue-colored, graphical image is displayed.

Resolution:
The problem is likely related to Windows Media Player incompatibility. vPoint HD 6.0 was released before Media Player 10.0 was released. The vMail application should work fine, including the playback function, using previous versions of Media Player. Additionally, the incompatibility with this version of Media Player should be solved in the next version of vPoint HD.

In addition, if the vMail clip is saved to the hard drive, it typically can be opened and played with various media players including Windows Media Player 10.0. It is only the vMail preview function that has the incompatibility.
